A New Low?
Today I had to have my car inspected in downtown New Rochelle at 9 in the morning. Anyone that knows New Rochelle knows that between the lights and traffic, New Roc is a jungle at that time of the day and it can take 20 mins to get out of the city.
So as I pulled out of the inspection shop, I noticed a string of cars w/ flashing lights on, and cops blocking the intersection up ahead. Funeral...

haha, I wasn’t sure about posting this, but had to after he wrote “A quick stop to shove more nuts down yer gob to get you to camp.” Mike and definitely didn’t “shove nuts down our gob” but a food break between 3 and 4 p.m. was mandatory before pushing a few more hours in to the evening.

These guys from England did the CDT and put together this most excellent video. I recommend the 15 minute version for the non-hiker. Great attitude to the trail and some stunning video makes for a very enjoyable viewing.
The CDT is considered the baddest of the three recognized Long Trails in America due to it’s remoteness, distance between resupply, and exposure to severe weather.
